SelectBooks Inc. is a fast-growing independent publishing house. While focusing primarily on non-fiction and political science titles, the catalog has expanded to include young adult and literary fiction titles.
I created marketing and publicity plans for various authors and their books and made first contact and follow-up with companies and individuals to present the books. Using creativity, research, and strong communication, I helped the authors set up book signings at various events, encouraged magazines and websites to write articles about the authors and their books, and fostered relations for future authors with various companies and publications.
All events, articles, or other publicity outlets were highly publicized on the publishing house social media platforms.
